The event is co-sponsored by China Triathlon Association, Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau and Xuzhou Municipal People's Government, hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Sports Competition Management Center, Xuzhou Municipal Sports Bureau and Xuzhou Yunlong Lake Scenic Area Management Committee, operated by Huatian Events (Beijing) Sports Management Co., LTD., and named by Jiangsu Kangliyuan Sports Technology Co., LTD. 800 players from 24 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and special administrative regions, more than 40 domestic railway three clubs, as well as the United Kingdom, Spain and Canada participated in the grand event by the Yunlong Lake.

This event is A+ level regional theme feature event, with the theme of "Huaihai Economic Zone regional coordinated development". At the same time, the event was upgraded to the 2024 Triathlon World Championship Trials for Spain, with the aim of selecting the country's top age-group athletes for the upcoming World Championships in Torremolinos, Spain, on October 20. The course is set for the Olympic standard distance of 51.5 km in the individual and relay groups, as well as the Olympic distance group and the biathlon group. Both high-level elite players, there are the first attempt of the new iron three, as well as athletes who love different projects team up relay, covering a variety of sports people.

After fierce competition, Zhou Wenjie of Macau won the men's elite group with a total time of 2 hours and 36 seconds, Cao Junyu of Chongqing won the second place with 2 hours and 3 minutes and 41 seconds, and Liu Debin of Dongguan finished third with 2 hours and 4 minutes and 23 seconds. In the elite women's group, Yu Shujun of Wenzhou won the gold in 2 hours 21 minutes 39 seconds, Ao Xiang of Shanghai finished second in 2 hours 22 minutes 32 seconds, and Chen Wenjuan finished third in 2 hours 22 minutes 56 seconds. Yu Shujun, Ao Xiang, Chen Wenjuan and Jiang Dongmei all broke the women's elite Group record and shared the record-breaking prize of 10,000 yuan.
